Our high precision tooling adopts long streamline flow techniques and incorporates die segmentation which results in longer extrusion runs and more stability. This means easier start ups and less scrap, resulting in more profits for the customer.

Characteristics

The dry calibrator has the characteristics of short length, small resistance and low energy consumption. We design special water hole configurations to cool those hard to cool areas. This dramatically improves rates. We design our tooling to have simple water connections to provide for reduced set up time. We are very much aware of the cost of downtime and set up. Therefore we have designed our tooling to be user friendly. Our “quick cooling” device in the entry end greatly improves the degree of the finish of the profile surface. This new tooling is formed with one dry calibrator and two water tanks and results in very high extrusion rates. The speed of single cavity tooling for main profile is 3.8 meters/min (11.5 feet/min) and the speed of dual-cavity tooling for main profile is 3.6 meters/min(10.9 feet/min).
